Saint is off limits for so many reasons.

He’s fifteen years older than me, my dad’s best friend, and a badass in the Steel Roses motorcycle club, but I don’t care. I’ve loved him since the first time I saw him and every day since.

Which is why I volunteer to deliver presents to local orphanages with him on Christmas Eve. Driving through a blizzard isn’t the smartest idea, but we have to make sure the kids get their gifts in time for morning.

Everything goes wrong when we hit a slick patch of ice and Saint’s truck crashes into a snow bank. In the chaotic aftermath, what should have been an “I’m-glad-you’re-okay” kiss turns into one that screams “I-want-you-so-freaking-bad.” With rescue two hours away, no gas left in the tank, and negative degree temperatures outside, Saint and I have to find other ways to keep warm.

Even if they can never leave the truck.

Even if we can never speak of them again.
