Midsummer

FFMM Queer Poly adaptation of Midsummer Night’s Dream

Completed quartet. We recommend reading in order.

Pagan rituals, fairies, politics, and arranged marriages

BOOK ONE

MIDSUMMER

The course of true love never did run smooth.

Ivy

I’ve hated Alexei Fairfax since we were ten. Now our parents want us married by twenty-four, because nothing polls better than a Washington and a Fairfax at the altar.

Fine. Lex and I can fake it. He keeps his princess. I keep my boyfriend. No one has to know.

Then our last summer of college drops the four of us in a tiny Irish town that still warns visitors about fairies, and our secret gets out on Midsummer night. By morning, we’re not faking anything. We’re married. All four of us. And the words “Until the end” are carved into our palms.

By the time we return to reality, we learn how hard it is to fake one marriage while already bound to another. And the fairies never play fair.

BOOK TWO

SAMHAIN

I’ll follow thee, and make heaven of hell…

Carter

Two years ago, I married three people in a fairy ruin. Then the girl I loved and the man I wanted most texted me, telling me never to call again.

So I did what I do best. I smiled for the cameras, moved to Malibu with a princess who was just as heartbroken as I was, and turned a lucky break into a starring role.

Now the curse is back. Every time they touch each other, I feel it from across the country, and it won’t stop until the four of us are in the same room.

Getting back together should be easy. Surviving what we find in the woods on Samhain is another story.

BOOK THREE

SOLSTICE

…To die upon the hand I loved so well.

Lex

I want my wife to want me. That’s all.

But Ivy Washington would rather swallow glass than admit she loves me. Our princess has stopped answering her phone, and a fairy king is loose in the human realm, hunting the people I love.

So I’ll do what I do best. I’ll make a plan. I’ll make her say mercy. And I’ll turn the wedding of the decade into the biggest trap anyone has ever set.

Despite the secrets, the scandals, and the lies, we’re meant to survive together. All four of us. Nothing will stand in my way.

BOOK FOUR

BELTANE

If we shadows have offended, Think but this, and all is mended: That you have but slumbered here, While these visions did appear

Miri

I stayed away to protect them. It didn’t work.

The fairy king has found me, and he says I owe him a life. He has done things to me I can barely remember and will never forget.

Now I’m back with the three people I love most in the world, and they won’t let me hide anymore. Because Beltane is coming, the veil is thinning, and a banshee has seen how this ends.

Victory will require a sacrifice, and I intend for it to be me. Until the end.

NOVELLA

WE WILD THINGS

The rules of the Wild Hunt are simple: to the victor go the spoils…

Being a Banshee, I should’ve seen my heartbreak coming. One reckless night with my commander and his lieutenant shattered six centuries of loyalty—and Finn vanished without a word.

Now, ten years later, the Wild Hunt calls us back to the fairy realm. I expect danger, desire, and maybe a fight. I don’t expect him.

When Finn pins me against a tree and growls that he’s back for what’s his, I know he means more than my body. He wants my heart—and Donnelly’s too. But after what he did, he’ll have to earn it… or burn with us trying.
